#Read this before choosing a bank

An institution appearing on the Powertranz map does not mean that every eCommerce product it sells uses Powertranz. Some banks and processors offer several gateways. Genius Checkout's Powertranz module requires credentials provisioned for Powertranz or its former name, First Atlantic Commerce (FAC).

Ask the institution to confirm the processor, Direct or HPP mode, Merchant ID, test and live passwords, currencies, settlement, refunds, 3-D Secure, and any tokenization or recurring-payment rights. If the institution issues a native credential for another gateway, use a connector designed for that protocol.

#What Genius Checkout adds after bank approval

The bank or processor approves the merchant, defines settlement, and enables payment capabilities. Genius Checkout makes that approved account usable across supported business tools:

#Are all currencies available in every country?

No. The institution must enable each transaction and settlement currency for the individual merchant profile.
